DODGE MUTRONIC INJECTION DELUXE SE711-09 輸入盤  2003年 "Seven Eleven"のベ−シストDodgeの１stソロ・アルバムは、1998年に 6曲収録されて発売になった"MUTRONIC INJECTION "ですが、今年 さらに３曲加えられ再編集した完全なるデビュ−アルバムとして発売に なったのが、このアルバム"MUTRONIC INJECTION DELUXE"です。 改めて、聴いてみると1曲目は、もろBootsy Collinsしていますね、ヴォ −カルも、Bootsy では、ないかと思うくらいでありましたが、クレジットさ れていないし、ドッジがヴォ−カルなんだろう。この人の場合、方向性が これだけハッキリしているので、潔い。自分の影響を受けた音楽、好きに なったベ−シストを追求している姿勢に声援を送りたいくらいです。 ４曲目"Slant Six"は、"Seven Eleven"のJewlがソウルフルなヴォ−カル を聴かせてくれる彼らの曲としては珍しいスロ−・ナンバ−です。 このアルバムは、200４年の２月か３月に日本でも発売になる予定です。
DODGE MUTRONIC INJECTION DELUXE The 1st soloalbum of bassist Dodge of "Seven Eleven" was recorded 6 songs in 1998, and it became sale.("MUTRONIC INJECTION ") It is this album "MUTRONIC INJECTION DELUXE" to become sale as debutalbum which three more songs were added to this year and which was edited again and which became perfect. As for the first song, the thing which took an influence from Bootsy Collins is remarkable.But, the tune which contains more various elements is being recorded in this album. STAR BASS INVASION JJT-77023 輸入盤 2003/9/15 on sale オランダの"Seven Eleven"のベ−シストとして活躍している"Dodge"の 3ndリ−ダ−作が完成し、"Seven Eleven"の新作と同じく９月に発売に なり、この"Seven Eleven"の新作は、私の１１月のベストアルバムのペ −ジで紹介しています。 さて、Dodgeの新作ですが、い−や、待っていました。１stは、６曲と少 なく感じたが、今回は１６曲収録されており、さしずめ１stは今回のフル アルバムに向けての、牽制球的な意味合いがあったのではないかと思 われた。今回のアルバムは、彼の入魂の１６曲が収録されている。 下記の１stアルバムのところにも書きましたが、彼がBootsy Collinsに 影響を受け中毒になったかは、サウンドからは勿論ですが、外見（衣装 ベ−スなど）からもわかります。 なお、１st、6曲目に収録されていた、"TUNED CAR MIND"が、２曲目に
This album, even Japan will be sale in February or March in 2004 .ミックス違いで収録されているのも、私としては好きな曲だったので嬉し かったデス。 このアルバムは、非常に完成度が高く、すごいアルバムだと思う!! 私は、"Seven Eleven"と"Dodge"の音楽が、日本の、多くの人々に 聴かれるといいなと思う。 DODGE STAR BASS INVASION (2003) The second solo CD of Dodge (bassist of Dutch funk band Seven Eleven) was released in September 2003. I’ve been looking out for this album because on Dodge’s first album, there were only six songs. This time, 16 songs of his soul have been recorded. You can hear the Bootsy Collins influence from the sounds he uses. The song "Tuned car Mind" also appears on the first six song CD and it has been re-mixed for the second album. This made me very happy because I like this song so much! Star Bass Invasion is a wonderful CD and I hope that many Japanese people will listen to the music of Dodge and Seven Eleven. -Toshiko Iikawa-

DODGE EFFECTIVE MANOEUVERS SE711-07 輸入盤 2001年 "Seven Eleven"のベ−シスト"Dodge"の４曲入りCDシングル です。鮮明なジャケットではありませんので、スキャナ−も上手く できませんが、このスタイルからどんな音をだすのか、想像できる と思います。ほんとうにカッコいいです。 彼の曲で私が一番最初に好きになった３曲目"Tuned Car Mind" が収録されていますが、この曲は、ファンキ−なサウンド好きな 人には究極です。"Seven Eleven"のホ−ン隊も見事。 ライブを見たい!! DODGE EFFECTIVE MANOEUVERS (2001) This is the CD single with 4 songs of funk bassist Dodge of Seven Eleven. That's GREAT bass sound!!! Can you imagine what kind of performance he does? It’s the third song “Tuned Car Mind” I like the most. I really want people who like funky music to listen to this song. Members of Seven Eleven made wonderful contributions too. DODGE MUTRONIC INJECTION SE711-02 輸入盤 1998年 オランダのジャズ・ファンク・バンド"Seven Eleven"のベ−シスト"Dodge" の1stソロアルバムです。 "Seven Eleven"については、"Funky Music Forever" with DJ Ritz-NO.3 で取り上げています。 彼がどんなにBootsy Collinsに影響を受け中毒になったかは、まずは その衣装にあります。Bootsyを彷彿させる衣装を纏い、例の星形サン グラスさらには、スペ−ス・ベ−スとやる気満々である、この"Dodge"を はじめ影響の受ける年代にBootsy中毒になり、Bootsyのクロ−ンのよ うなベ−シストになった人って以外と多い、また影響の受ける年代に Bootsy中毒患者になった聴き手も多くベ−ス中毒は蔓延している訳 であります。このドッジは、格好だけではありませんよ、実のところ私が 今まで聴いたベ−スプレイヤ−の中でも、抜群の腕の持ち主と言え、 "Seven Eleven"に彼がいなかったら、たぶんこれほどの強力なバンド にはなっていないだろう。 ３曲目"Ram Power "のスラップの洪水は、禁断症状が出始めた中毒 患者には、特効薬であります。 DODGE MUTRONIC INJECTION (1998) Mutronic Injection is the first solo album of bassist Dodge of the Dutch Jazzfunk band Seven Eleven. It was introduced by "Funky Music Forever" with DJ Ritz-NO.3. Dodge is influenced by Bootsy Collins. With his clotheshe imagines he is Bootsy, and then he is wearing the sunglasses of the shape of a star. Furthermore, it is the shape of bass. I think that his spirit is wonderful. When I began to listen to the music, I felt Bootsy is loved, and there is a person who actually became bassist like him. There are many people who love to listen to music from Bootsy, too. There are many bass addicts for such a reason. There is not only clothes but also wonderful technology in Dodge. He is the best player which I have been listening to. Even more powerful because he is playing with Seven Eleven. The vitamine bass flood on the third song "Ram Power" is good for my health. -Toshiko Iikawa- |
