THE NEW COME OUT SE711-10 輸入盤  2003年 Seven Elevenのデビュ−・アルバム"THE COME OUT"は、1996年に８曲 収録され発売になりました。その後、2000年に３曲追加され１１曲収録さ れ発売になりました。 2003年にさらに３曲追加され、合計１６曲収録され"THE NEW COME OUT" として、再編集され発売になったのがこのアルバムです。 （今年発売になったフルアルバムは、彼らの３作目のオリジナル・アルバム ということになります。） この完全なるデビュ−・アルバムは、"Dog House"のヒットで知られている Menace（P-Funk)が制作に参加しており、Seven Eleven初期の曲を聴くこと ができ,彼らがいかにJB'SやP-Funk,Bootsy Collinsに影響を受けたか、 実感出来ます。 14曲目に収録されている、Dirty frogが、私は一番好きなんですが、サック スのイントロがゾクゾクするほどカッコいい、またトロンボ−ンが効果的に 使われています。 このアルバムは、200４年の２月か３月に日本でも発売になる予定です。 SEVEN ELEVEN THE NEW COME OUT(2003)
Debutalbum "THE COME OUT" of Seven Eleven was recorded 8 tracks in 1996, and it became sale. After that, 3 tracks were added to 2000, and 11 tracks were recorded, and it became sale. 3 more tracks are added to 2003, and a total is recorded 16 tracks and edited as "THE NEW COME OUT" again, and it is this album to become sale. As for this Debutalbum which becomes perfect, Menace (P-Funk) known with the hit of "Dog House" participates in the production. Then, it can listen to the early funky songs of Seven Eleven, It can be realized if they took an influence in JB'S, P-Funk and Bootsy Collins how . I like "Dirty frog" which the 14th song is containing best, and the saxophone is cool in this song This album, even Japan will be sale in February or March in 2004 . HOT 'N' FUNKY JJT 77024 輸入盤 2003/9/15 on sale "Seven Eleven"というバンドは、オランダ(The Netherlands)を中心に
ヨ−ロッパで活動しているバンドだということは、以前彼らの１ｓｔアルバムを紹介した時に書いていますが、今年９月に彼らの３枚目のアルバム が発売になりました。それがこのアルバムで、前作に引き続き、ファンク なアルバムで、私のような音楽の趣向にある人は、是非聴いて頂きたい と思う。たぶんツボにはまること請け合いであります。（Funk+Jazz+HIP HOPがミックスされ、ベ−スが強力、さらにホ−ン隊がうまいということで 特にtromboneがいい） Are MCというカッコいい人がラップしておりますが、彼のソロアルバムも 発売になるということで注目しています。詳しくは彼のHPで。 "North Sea The Hague JAZZ Festival"など有名なJAZZ Festivalにも 連続で出演しておりますので、知っている人は知っている（当たり前） ですが、日本や世界的に知らしめたいバンドでありますが、どのように世 界に進出するか．．．実力以外のあらゆる困難な要素があるからね、 そういう意味で、私も少しでも彼らのサポ−トができたらいいなと思う。 Funk度を増すゲストとして、Fred Wesleyが参加しています。 SEVEN ELEVEN HOT 'N' FUNKY (2003) When their live album “Get ‘m down!” was introduced to me, Seven Eleven was already an active band in Europe. Their third album Hot ‘n’ funky was released in September 2003. This record is as funky as the live album. It unites Funk, Jazz and Hiphop and has a powerful bass sound and very good sax and trombone. Are MC, the rapper, is now workin’ on a solo-album. I’m looking forward to hear it. Seven Eleven has played at The North Sea Jazz Festival in The Hague a few times and therefore I think that more people in Japan are aware of the band. I hope they will be active worldwide. SE711-01 輸入盤 2000年 下記の"FUNK TO THE MAX 2"を聴いて、すっかり"Seven Eleven"と このバンドのベ−シストの"Dodge"のファンになってしまい、そのことを DJ Ritzに話したら、速攻で送ってくれたのが、以下４枚のアルバムです "Seven Eleven"というバンドは、オランダ(The Netherlands)を中心に ヨ−ロッパで活動しているバンドで、端的にいうと９人組JazzFunkバンド で、女性のヴォ−カリストJewlとラッパ−のAreMcを擁し、ファンキ−な サウンドにソウルフルなヴォ−カルとキレのいいラップを交差させてい ます。オランダのファンキ−なバンド事情については私としては無知で ありましたので、追々DJ Ritzから聞いてみようと思っていますが、 かなりガツンときてるって感じですね この２枚目のアルバムは、彼らのライブアルバムで、そのライブのハチャ メチャな楽しさが伝わってきて、聴いていて、ハッピ−になります。 2曲目"Dirty frog"は、ベ−シスト、ドッジの重量感のあるスラップがいい、 イントロもカッコいいし、なんかダンボ−ル箱を蹴飛ばしたくなりました。 それくらい、やられたということです。 SEVEN ELEVEN GET 'M DOWN! (2000) When I heard their contribution on the compilation-CD "Funk To The Max2", I became a fan of Seven Eleven and of their bass player Dodge. I told this to my Dutch friend DJ Ritz and he send me Get ‘m down! and their CD-single Unfunky BITCH. SevenEleven is a funk band of nine people with rap (Are MC) and vocals (Jewl) up front. I’ve been looking out for this album because on Dodge’s first album, there were only six songs. This time, 16 songs of his soul have been recorded. You can hear the Bootsy Collins influence from the sounds he uses. The song "Tuned car Mind" also appears on the first six song CD and it has been re-mixed for the second album. This made me very happy because I like this song so much! Star Bass Invasion is a wonderful CD and I hope that many Japanese people will listen to the music of Dodge and Seven Eleven. DODGE EFFECTIVE MANOEUVERS SE711-07 輸入盤 2001年 "Seven Eleven"のベ−シスト"Dodge"の４曲入りCDシングル です。鮮明なジャケットではありませんので、スキャナ−も上手く できませんが、このスタイルからどんな音をだすのか、想像できる と思います。ほんとうにカッコいいです。 彼の曲で私が一番最初に好きになった３曲目"Tuned Car Mind" が収録されていますが、この曲は、ファンキ−なサウンド好きな 人には究極です。"Seven Eleven"のホ−ン隊も見事。 ライブを見たい!! DODGE EFFECTIVE MANOEUVERS (2001) This is the CD single with 4 songs of funk bassist Dodge of Seven Eleven. That's GREAT bass sound!!! Can you imagine what kind of performance he does? It was introduced by "Funky Music Forever" with DJ Ritz-NO.3. Dodge is influenced by Bootsy Collins. With his clothes he imagines he is Bootsy, and then he is wearing the sunglasses of the shape of a star. Furthermore, it is the shape of bass. I think that his spirit is wonderful. When I began to listen to the music, I felt Bootsy is loved, and there is a person who actually became bassist like him. There are many people who love to listen to music from Bootsy, too.There are many bass addicts for such a reason. There is not only clothes but also wonderful technology in Dodge. He is the best player which I have been listening to. Even more powerful because he is playing with Seven Eleven.
