Dearest light beings flirting with matter,
My deepest respects to Joe Strummer of the Clash and other trail blazing endeavours.
May his restless spirit rest in peace. He was a great songwriter and demonstrated in his music and
in his actions compassion and respect for the welfare of the common man.
He was blessed to know in his life time that he was a hero for many, I among them.

The record industry, being a microcosm of its nation has always had a problem with black artists with
a strong sense of self-determination, if that self-determination did not lead naturally into the greasepaint
of self-limiting nonthreatening warmed over minstrel aesthetics; which is to a real man what a prosthesis is
to a runner. A man of colour ( this applies also to our latin cousins ) breaking conformity still seems no less
a threat to the fragile psyche of the State than seeing Samson break his chains must have been for his governors.
Men of colour are constantly criticized for not being men yet historically all attempts at self-determination
according to ones-own prophecy has met with ruthless socio-political opposition and not a little over-reaction
emotionally in order to encourage a patronizing, childlike dependency on the State, the same State that
then mocks them for that dependency. And the patronizing way that Artists are kept dependent on the Graces
of a graceless and dishonest industry speaks of nothing more than the company store was for miners and for sharecroppers.
There is too much psychic burden on the Grace of our Nation for Government to continue to idly sit-by and
allow America’s best and brightest to be raped and sheared like sheep before a pack of rabid wolves.
It must be reminded that to do nothing in the face of corruption encourages it, and the blinder we are to Justice,
the further we are from Peace
And we will always inevitably lead ourselves close to war in order to remind ourselves of this.

One of the things that I have always respected about the French
is that they think for themselves and are not afraid to speak their piece and leave it at that !
And they can always comfort themselves by remembering that they are french and you are wrong .

All in all it must be said that despite the work that remains to be done, there are some pretty cool life-forms
on this Planet . Sometimes the Grace of a few does indeed preserve the Grace of the many.

………and furthermore the deep financial corruption of the record business is only half of the affliction that
affects this industry. The other half is the spiritual corruption ( also known as moral bankruptcy ) that
now causes this cancer to consume itself the way Nature requires of any entity when its feeding habits have
gotten out of control and threatens to destroy the fabric of the common good. All public traders should be
reminded that ‘business’ is never acceptable as an excuse to forget principles of good breeding and manners
that good Americans so clearly aim to represent and pass on to their children.

On new year’s day myself and Francesca went to a performance of Beethoven’s 9th symphony here in Milano .
It was exquisite being surrounded by beauty and those fat wide orchestral colours.
What once rocked shall always rock and Beethoven rocks!
My only disappointment was the lack of merch, I really wanted a Beethoven T-shirt!

for our homes could just as easily be cut in half with the otherhalf going to community improvement services

Film makers nor rappers can be held entirely responsible for expressing in their work
the violence and lack of respect for life already in our own hearts. They also serve by
reminding us how much work there is to be done, but we can do it, what else are we here for?

is replenishing itself.Thank you copiously for this past years Grace which you extended towards me and

こんばんわ、師匠。僕もやたら（ほぼ毎日）ウィルスメールが来ています。
どうします？テレちゃんも嫌がりますよ。絶対。
東京では先日の雪、僕の部屋からの景色はすばらしかったです。
テレちゃんのところの公式サイトでライブ風景が３分ほど観れます。どの曲もちょっとづつでメドレーなんですが、
一瞬見られる「ユー・ウィル・ペイ・トゥモロウ」の、９０年代のライブパフォーマンスよりは相当ゲンキない感じですが、
やっぱり良いですね。クウェッションの方での、皆さんの意見でもいくつかありましたが「ダンス・リトル・シスター」
から「ユー・ウィル〜」への流れが全てのテレちゃんの今までの作品の中で一番好きかも、です。

サナンダにまったく関係のない話なんですが、最近ウィルスメ−ルやたら多くなりましたね。
私自身驚いたのですが、subjectがMerry Christmas で、添付ファイル付きのメ−ルが知っている人のアドレスで
送られてくるんですね。その人が故意送るわけではないですし、この手の話には全く素人なのですが、
私のメ−ル・アドレスもそのように使われていることもあるのかも知れないと考えると、怖いですね。
私がそのメ−ルを受け取った時に、（開いてもいないのに）今まで一度も経験したことがないような症状に
パソコンがなりました。ほんとうに、びっくりしました。気をつけようがないですね。困ったモンですね。

A change:

The name Sananda I’m sure means many things but to me it means ‘new life’, ‘newfound shiny object’!
‘stability’ , ‘more emotional strength and security’, ‘a less rigid and confining sense of self’ ,
‘permission to heal’ , ‘more unfettered and unexplained joy’ , ‘more patience and respect
for the process of life’, ‘the understanding that time works for you, not against you’,
‘less judgment of what I or someone else is experiencing and more observation’,
‘increased personal acceptance ( which translates into Grace )’,
‘a lot more inspired sillyness’, and ‘MORE FORGIVENESS of self and others’.
Most importantly it means a lot more faith and trust in the Love of God and all the fruits of his Goodness,
which everywhere around me I see, reflected through nature, food, sex,laughter, tears, music, literature,
art, people, animals, films, architecture, friendship, religion, philosophy and a good night ‘s sleep .

I took the name Sananda 7 years ago, at the age of 33 , after the suggestions offered through a series of
dreams, 3 to be exact .
It offered me a way out of an old life, a painful and an unfulfilling life.
It offered me entrance through a door I had been seeking all my life.
Its instant familiarity greatly encouraged me to accept the invitation and I am better and broader because of it.
I feel like a man who had Amnesia, who slowly woke up to remember in fuller detail his true identity or
like a butterfly who first had to withstand a caterpillar’s life until his wings arrived.

I took the time off that I did, to grow up and allow some broken things to heal.
I have never doubted my ability to make music for it has been a source of comfort to me throughout my life.

米国VIBE誌の最新号(12月号/表紙：Toni Braxton)Page.96に、TTDとしてカラーで１ページ載っていました。
Sanandaの名前の由来（夢の話）や、あるいは昔のレコード会社への不満（と言うか、
現在米国をツアー出来ない状況が歯痒いようです）
などが述べられていましたが、写真が昔のやつ(1988)だったのが残念。
